Rocks are like little treasures for kids. So, we conducted ” Rock Day ” activity for our little kids.
Our teachers told the kids to find different types of rocks in our play ground and gave interesting information about the rocks.
There are many benefits to exploring rocks. Kids able to compare and sort rocks by their attributes such as size, appearance and weight.
This open ended exploration also using descriptive words such as hard, soft, smooth, rough, heavy and light, will really help to build their vocabulary.
